PRESS RELEASE - FROST GROUP HEADQUARTERS TO RELOCATE
Date: 07 July 2011
Frost Group Limited (“FGL”), Licensed Insolvency Practitioners and business advisors, are pleased to announce their continued expansion and the relocation of their Croydon head office to Airport House on Purley Way, Croydon. This office compliments the firm’s other offices in Central London and Dorset.

Airport House is the art deco styled listed building on the site of the old Croydon Airport – the world's first ever purpose-built commercial airport.
Croydon Airport opened in 1920, having evolved from a military aerodrome used during the 1914/18 war. It was London's first international airport, with regular passenger, freight and mail flights to Europe.
Famous flyers from Croydon included Amy Johnson who took off from Croydon on her record-breaking solo flight to Australia; Charles Lindbergh who flew into Croydon after completing the first solo transatlantic flight, and Winston Churchill who took flying lessons there.
During World War II the airport was a fighter station, and was subjected to a major bombing raid in August 1940. After the war it reverted to its civilian role, but as the size of aircraft increased, Croydon became too small for the major airlines, Heathrow Airport expanded its own operations in the early 1950's and as a consequence the last commercial flight left Croydon on 30 September 1959.
Insolvency Practitioner and Managing Director of FGL, Jeremy Frost said "We had been at our previous office location for 6 years and we had outgrown the space that we had. Moving to the iconic building of Airport House on the site of the old Croydon Airport is part of the continued growth of the firm and is expected to be a positive in terms of a better environment for our staff, our clients and the business as a whole."
"The historical aspect of our new head office location is also great for the Frost Group – as a modern progressive business we still fully intend to embrace, whilst hopefully living-up to, our new building's famous and impressive past" (Jeremy Frost – MD).
Following the move, the Frost Group's main telephone number will remain unchanged – You can still call 0845 260 0101 for friendly professional advice.

FGL Sponsorship of Mitcham Bulls Rugby Team.
Frost Group Limited is pleased to confirm our continued sponsorship of the Mitcham Bulls (mini & youth) rugby team.
We were especially delighted to support the Mitcham Rugby Club Memorial Day on 4 October 2009, held in memory of Rifleman Daniel Simpson of the 2nd Rifles Battalion and in aid of the Help for Heroes charity – “A truly worthy cause”.
The Memorial Day saw the youth teams training, a 7’s tournament, a full team tournament, a silent auction, raffles and a 50ft inflatable assault course provided by the Army. A moving minute’s applause and balloon release took place during the day to honour Danny Simpson, who had played for the Mitcham 3rd team before leaving to join the Army. 217 balloons, all funded by donations, were released in memory of all our heroes that have lost their lives whilst serving their Country.
All told, the day was an unmitigated success:-
The weather stayed fine; everyone enjoyed themselves; the Mitcham veterans team (featuring our own Mark Pugh) won the tournament, thanks in the main to a very fair handicapping system (?!), and we believe that over £7,000 was raised in aid of Help the Heroes.
Congratulations to everyone involved.
